GOES-12 East-West Station Keeping Maneuver, 10 June 2003 > ============================================== A GOES-12 East-West Station Keeping maneuver will be performed on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 0202 UTC. For National Weather Service operations: The backup date for this maneuver is Thursday, June 12, 2003. If the NWS regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301-763-8298) at least 6.5 hours prior to the maneuver time. Expect GOES-12 imager and sounder gridding offsets for up to 6 hours following the maneuver. On June 9/10, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations: (*PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-10 Full Disk scan period to support the primary GOES-12 outage during the maneuver.*) GOES-12 Maneuver Schedule starts at 1954 UTC on June 9, 2003.
