GOES-12 to GOES-East Position, Update 2 >

GOES-12 is in its GOES-East position at 75 degrees West.  
On 22 April at 1834 UTC, GVAR was switched from GOES-8 to GOES-12.
All ancillary communication services (WEFAX, DCS, EMWIN and SAR) 
were also switched from GOES-8 to GOES-12. All GOES-East services 
are now being provided by GOES-12.
