For National Weather Service operations: The backup date for this maneuver is Friday, August 8, 2003. If the NWS regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301-763-8298) at least 6.5 hours prior to the maneuver time. On August 6, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations: (*PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-12 Full Disk scan period to support the primary GOES-10 outage during the maneuver.*) GOES-10 Maneuver Schedule starts at 0251 UTC on August 6, 2003. GOES-10 Southern Hemisphere scan at 0252 UTC is canceled.
