Update: 28 July 2004

NOAA-12 AVHRR Operational

As of 1754Z Julian Day 210, the AVHRR on NOAA 12 was successfully turned on.  All
telemetry showed nominal operation of the currents, voltages, temperature as well as
nominal AVHRR telemetry.  Post supports have been added up to monitor the satellite
and data will be collected for further analysis.  Also accomplished in this
satellite contact were commands to adjust the threshold limits for the battery
voltages.  These adjustments will be in effect for the eclipse period expected to
complete around mid August.
