NOAA-17 AMSU-A Adjustment, 6 May 2003 >

In an effort to eliminate some of the noise problems in the channel 7 data, the gross limits on the AMSU-A
instrument on NOAA-17 were adjusted on 6 May 2003, at 1645 UTC beginning with the following orbits:

NSS.GHRR.NM.D03126.S1657.E1830.B0449495.GC
NSS.HRPT.NM.D03126.S1832.E1840.B0449595.GC

All products are affected.  The user will still experience some noise problem.  
The limits were also adjusted for the remaining AMSU-A channels.
