Due to a critical weather day being declared by the National Weather
Service until 12:00 UTC on May 6, the planned GOES-10 E/W maneuver will
be postponed until the final backup date of Thursday May 8, 2003.

On May 8, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to support
maneuver operations: (*PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-12 Full Disk scan
period to support the primary GOES-10 outage during the maneuver.*)

Maneuver Schedule starts at 0451 UTC on May 8, 2003.

Southern Hemisphere scan at 0452 UTC is canceled.

>From 0500 UTC through 0959 UTC -- GOES-10 Routine Imaging and Soundings

>From 1000 UTC through 1029 UTC -- GOES-10 Full Disk Imaging with
Soundings (Sounding at 1024 UTC is abbreviated)

>From 1030 UTC through 1044 UTC -- GOES-10 Routine Imaging

*From 1045 UTC through 1159 UTC -- No GOES-10 Imaging or Soundings*

**From 1045 UTC through 1214 UTC -- GOES-12 Full Disk Imaging**

>From 1200 UTC through 1859 UTC -- GOES-10 Post Maneuver Recovery
Including:
   Abbreviated Full Disk Images (19 minute scan) at XX00
   Northern Hemisphere Images at XX30
   CONUS Soundings at XX01

1900 UTC May 8 -- GOES-10 Routine Scan Operations Resume

Expect GOES-10 imager and sounder gridding offsets for up to 6 hours
following the maneuver.
