NOAA-16 AVHRR channel 3B to 3A Switching >28 July and 01 August, 2003 ============================================================= THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS WILL OCCUR IN ORDER TO MAKE A "SCENE" COMPARISON OF AVHRR AND A CALIBRATED RADIOMETER (MODIS). THE LAC DATA BEING SIMILAR TO THE MODIS FOV IS THE REASON FOR THE SWITCH. The tests will be approx. 5-10 minutes long and encompass the region of 65 degrees north (magnetic) to the peak of the orbit (where ascending turns into desending).
