GOES-12 East-West Station Keeping Maneuver, 12 June 2003 >

With the recent cancellation of the GOES-12 East-West maneuver, a
GOES-12 East-West Station Keeping maneuver will now be performed on
Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 0211 UTC. For National Weather Service
operations: This is the backup and final date for this maneuver.

On June 11/12, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to
support maneuver operations: (PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-10 Full
Disk scan period to support the primary GOES-12 outage during the maneuver.*)

GOES-12 Maneuver Schedule starts at 1954 UTC on June 11, 2003.

GOES-12 Southern Hemisphere scan at 11/2009 UTC UTC is canceled.

>From 11/2002 UTC through 12/0044 UTC -- GOES-12 Routine Imaging and Soundings

>From 12/0045 UTC through 12/0144 UTC -- GOES-12 Full Disk Imaging with Soundings
>From 12/0145 UTC through 12/0201 UTC -- GOES-12 Routine Imaging
(Sounding at 12/0146 UTC is abbreviated)

*From 12/0202 UTC through 12/0314 UTC -- No GOES-12 Imaging or Soundings*

**From 12/0200 UTC through 12/0329 UTC -- GOES-10 Full Disk Imaging**

>From 12/0315 UTC through 12/1014 UTC -- GOES-12 Post Maneuver Recovery Including:
   * Abbreviated Full Disk Images (19 minute scan) at XX15 and XX45
   * CONUS Soundings at XX46

1015 UTC June 12 -- GOES-12 Routine Scan Operations Resume

Expect GOES-12 imager and sounder gridding offsets for up to 6 hours following the maneuver.
